Stanley/Dunkeld 1 - 2 Breadalbane

Goals: Chucky & Lee -------

On Saturday Breadalbane traveled to Dunkeld to take on Stanley/Dunkeld in division one, With a few off the park issues between the two clubs in the past few weeks it was left to players to do the business on the field.

The game was very entertaining with both teams have a few chances in the 1st half without troubling any goalkeeper, But once again it was David Carr who broke the deadlock, The ball was played to him on the left where he wrapped his left foot round the ball to direct the ball into the bottom far corner. The Tricky Winging is starting o make a name for himself in the Amateur League.

Breadalbane also had a worrying situation where Doctor Garth Menzies diagnosed himself to have low blood pressure as he was feeling dizzy when coming for crosses. Stuart Lackie & Duncan Robertson resolved the situation moments after by supplying the experienced keeper Jaffa Cakes. Manager Duncan Robertson later thanked McVitie's for puting the orangey bit in the cake which seemed to cure the fading keeper.

Stanley equalized early into the 2nd half with a mistake in the breadalbane defence where the Stanley player ran on to a bouncing ball to place it in the Breadlbane net. 1-1

Breadalbane were unlucky not to be 3 or 4 up as Ross Laing & Scot McBride had several good chances in front of goal.

The Breadalbane winner came in the 65th min were Garth threw the ball to Chuck on the left half way in the Breadalbane half who ran with the ball into the final 3rd, Chucky gave the ball to Gav Price who gave the ball straight back to him, Chucky took the ball to the by-line who cut the ball back where Lee Veitch was on hand to smashed the ball past the Stanley Keeper. (A great counter attacking team goal)

Breadalbane deserved the win to put them right back into the title race
